Meet Our CEO

Nasir Mahmood

My favorite quote is "Failure is key to success". Before starting this company, I tried many other businesses, which did not go well. Through all these years, what I learned is that business is all about customers. The moment you start understanding what your customers want will be the turning point for your business. Our mission is to give value to customers by providing the best possible quality in reasonable prices. Lastly, wherever we are as a company today is because of blessings of Allah Almighty

Our Products

We have a range of Ball, Angular Contact and Roller Bearings.

Ball bearings are one of the most common types of bearing classes used worldwide. These types of bearings consist of a row of balls as rolling elements.

Ball bearings provide very low friction during rolling but have limited load-carrying capacity. This is because of the small area of contact between the balls and the races. They can support axial loads in two directions besides radial loads.

Climax Bearings imports complete range of Ball Bearings Such as

Angular Contact Bearings

In angular contact bearings, the inner and outer races are displaced with respect to each other along the bearing axis. This type is designed to handle greater amounts of axial loads in both directions in addition to radial loads. Angular contact bearings are widely used in agricultural equipment, automobiles, gearboxes, pumps, and other high-speed applications.

Climax bearings imports complete range of thrust ball bearings such as

series in steel, fiber and brass.

Self aligning ball bearings

Self-aligning ball bearings is immune to misalignment between the shaft and the housing which may happen due to shaft deflection or mounting errors.

The inner ring has deep grooves similar to deep groove ball bearings followed by two rows of balls and the outer ring. They provide little friction thus little loss of energy. The biggest advantage is that it is cheap and easy to replace.

Climax Bearings imports complete range of self-aligning ball bearings such as

series in steel and fiber.

Thrust ball bearings

Thrust ball bearings are a special type of ball bearings designed specifically for axial loads. They cannot sustain heavy radial loads. Thrust ball bearings exhibit low noise, smooth operation and are capable of high-speed applications in power industries. They are available as single direction or double direction bearings and the selection relies on whether the load is unidirectional or bidirectional. Climax bearings imports complete range of thrust ball bearings

Cylindrical roller bearings

Cylindrical roller bearings can face the challenges of heavy radial loading and high speed. They also offer excellent stiffness, axial load transmission, low friction, and a long service duration. They are available as single row, double row and four-row types. Furthermore, they also come in split and sealed variants. These are the simplest type in roller family.

Climax bearing imports wide range of cylindrical roller bearings such as

series in brass, nylon and steel cage.

Spherical roller bearings

Spherical roller bearings are the heaviest bearings depending upon the size. They have a wide range of use-cases. They are used in applications where heavy loads, moderate to high speeds and possible misalignment occur. Some example uses are off-road vehicles, pumps, mechanical fans, marine propulsion, wind turbines, and gearboxes.

Climax bearings imports wide range of spherical roller bearing such as

series in brass and steel cage.

Tapered roller bearing

The tapered roller bearing contains sections of a cone as a load-carrying element. Tapered roller bearings are designed to handle higher axial loads besides radial loads. Thus, they work as thrust bearings as well as radial load bearings.

Climax bearings imports wide range of tapered roller bearings such as

series .

Radial bearings

Radial ball bearings are friction reduction devices that carry loads radially around its axis. A subtype of ball bearings, they operate through the use of lubricated steel balls placed between two grooved rings. These bearings are commonly used in centrifugal compressors.

Climax bearings imports a wide range of radial bearings such as GE and GAC series.

Insert bearings

Insert bearings contain a bulging outer ring and an inner ring that is extended. This allows the device to be mounted easily and effectively. Insert bearings are generally used for strong, heavy applications and are relatively cheaper and effective.

Climax bearings imports various types of insert bearings such as

series .

Spherical roller thrust bearings

Spherical roller thrust bearings is refined by advanced processing technology. These types of bearings accommodate very heavy axial and considerable radial loads. They have the highest load capacity in thrust bearings enabling dense and high functioning bearing arrangements.
Climax bearings imports various types of spherical roller thrust bearings such as 29400 and 29300 series in brass and steel cage.

Clutch Lifter Bearings

Clutch Lifter Bearings incorporates several key components into a single unit. These types of Bearings can help manufacturers move away from conventional bearing arrangements. This can lead to faster assembly times, and lower cost and weight.

It enables better perpendicular alignment, resulting in a range of benefits for heavy machinery. Climax Bearings Imports various sizes of Clutch Lifter Bearings for different industries.

Discover expert insights, tips, and guides on bearings for better performance and longevity.

Proper maintenance and lubrication are crucial for maximizing the lifespan and efficiency of bearings. Neglecting these aspects can lead to premature wear, increased downtime, and higher maintenance costs.

Importance of Bearing Maintenance

  • Reduces friction and wear
  • Enhances operational efficiency
  • Prevents unexpected failures
  • Improves overall machine performance

Best Practices for Bearing Maintenance

  1. Regular Inspections
    • Check for signs of wear, noise, and vibration
    • Identify early symptoms of potential failures
  2. Cleaning and Contamination Control
    • Ensure a clean working environment
    • Use proper storage techniques to avoid dirt and moisture infiltration
  3. Proper Installation and Handling
    • Use appropriate tools for mounting and dismounting
    • Avoid hammering or applying excessive force during installation

Lubrication Guidelines

  1. Types of Lubricants
    • Grease Lubrication: Suitable for sealed bearings, providing long-term protection
    • Oil Lubrication: Used for high-speed applications requiring continuous flow
  2. Lubrication Frequency
    • Follow manufacturer guidelines based on operational conditions
    • Over-lubrication can cause overheating, while under-lubrication increases friction
  3. Environmental Considerations
    • High temperatures may require special high-temperature lubricants
    • Exposure to moisture demands corrosion-resistant greases

By implementing proper maintenance and lubrication strategies, businesses can improve the performance and durability of their bearings, reducing downtime and operational costs.

Bearings play a critical role in machinery, but they can fail due to various factors. Understanding common failure causes and preventive measures can significantly extend bearing life and improve equipment reliability.

Common Causes of Bearing Failure

  1. Contamination
    • Dirt, dust, and moisture infiltrating the bearing
    • Leads to premature wear and increased friction
    • Prevention: Regularly clean the bearing environment and use protective seals
  2. Misalignment
    • Incorrect installation causing uneven load distribution
    • Results in increased stress and wear
    • Prevention: Use precision mounting techniques and alignment tools
  3. Improper Lubrication
    • Insufficient or excessive lubrication causing overheating or degradation
    • Leads to premature failure and inefficiency
    • Prevention: Use the correct lubricant and follow manufacturer recommendations
  4. Overloading
    • Exceeding the bearing’s load capacity
    • Causes excessive heat generation and structural damage
    • Prevention: Choose the appropriate bearing based on load calculations

How to Prevent Bearing Failures

  • Regular inspection and maintenance
  • Proper lubrication techniques
  • Ensuring correct installation and alignment
  • Using high-quality bearings and seals

Bearings are essential components in modern machinery, reducing friction and facilitating smooth movement in various applications. They come in multiple types, each designed for specific operational needs. Understanding the different types of bearings and their applications helps in selecting the right one for a given task.

Types of Bearings
